Played in the traditional WPT deep structure, the Venetian stage began last Thursday (19). Since then, the field was reduced from 488 players to just Nick Seward, who pocketed exactly US$ 418.700 for the feat. This amount includes a US$ 10.400 entry into the WPT World Championship, which takes place at the end of the year.
Although Seward didn’t take major risks throughout the journey, he wasn’t the protagonist either. At the final table, Gregory Brown lined up eliminations and reached heads-up with triple the chips compared to his opponent. However, the young man was able to turn the tide of the duel, take the lead, and sprint to the title.

Even though Nick Seward has a short career, combined with the fact that this title yielded a large payout, this was not the main achievement of the American’s life. This is because, in 2024, he won a bracelet by winning the US$ 3.000 NLH 6-Handed at the WSOP. In addition to the jewelry, the glory earned him US$ 516.135.
However, the most recent title represents Seward’s second-largest payout. With this, he now reaches US$ 3,8 million earned in live tournaments in his career, according to Hendon Mob. Having appearances in circuits such as PGT and MSPT, as well as results at EPT Barcelona 2025, the player is increasingly consolidating himself in the elite scene.
