The Main Event, which registered a total of 620 entries, reached Tuesday with nine remaining players to decide the title. Rodrigo Guimarães appeared at the bottom of the chip count, and saw his stack shrink even further at the beginning of the decision. He needed a series of double-ups to survive.

Guimarães not only had that, but also significant action from the owners of the larger stacks, a fact that shuffled the decision. From the 6-handed stage onwards, he managed to fight for bigger pots and was successful, reaching a more comfortable position.

In the heads-up, Rodrigo Guimarães and the Argentine Rodolfo Palacios reached an agreement, and after about an hour of play, the Brazilian confirmed his victory with KQ against 22 thanks to a Q on the flop. Thus, he pocketed R$ 240,000, while the foreigner received R$ 200,000.
