Brazil achieved great success at the PokerStars tables this Monday (9). Especially in the SCOOP Warm-Up, the country’s representatives collected great results, with Lucas Pereira being the main highlight, winning the Mini Bounty Builder HR version.

With the nickname “thighTTKID”, Lucas Pereira took down the field of 2,649 entries in Event 37-Medium (US$ 55 NLH PKO Mini Bounty Builder HR). Thus, he pocketed US$ 12,985, combining regular prize and bounties. It was a Brazilian double, as “GlênioCoelho” finished second, taking home US$ 9,310.
Furthermore, another notable prize was that of José Carlos Brito “zekasurf”. The Portuguese-Brazilian reached the heads-up of Event 40-High (US$ 109 NLH Turbo Mystery Bounty), and the second place among 750 entries earned him US$ 7,472. Michel Antunes “michel-mica-“, in turn, did well with the envelopes, taking home US$ 5,196 despite finishing only in 28th place.
As is customary on PokerStars Mondays, valuable two-day competitions, which started on Sunday (8), held their final rounds. In the US$ 11 Sunday Storm PKO, Brazil took the win with Rebeca Rebuitti “rebuitti”, who beat the gigantic field of 7,334 entries for US$ 7,153. As in the tournament won by Lucas Pereira, this one also had a double, with “marcio6689” in second for US$ 5,705.

Another two-day competition was the 33-Low (US$ 22 NLH Mystery Sunday Special) of the SCOOP Warm-Up. Among 12,434 entries, Brazil was on the podium with “muliro18”, third place for US$ 7,113. “maycomsjc” finished fifth for US$ 5,376, and “BrunoBar08” stood out with the bounties, taking US$ 5,082 in 191st place.
Since this session led by Lucas Pereira had several Brazilian doubles, it is also worth mentioning the one from Event 38-Low (US$ 11 NLH). In this competition, 4,087 entries were registered, and “mmAAnz” became champion for US$ 5,723. In the heads-up, he beat compatriot “Binario”, who pocketed US$ 4,076.
