Thus, the Brazilian finished in seventh place and added US$ 84,489 to his bankroll. Moreover, Alisson started the final table with the smallest stack among the nine finalists, but managed the situation well and took advantage of important pay jumps throughout the decision. This week’s stage is part of the GGWF (GGPoker World Festival) and recorded 207 entries.
However, Alisson already had few chips when he said goodbye to the competition. The Brazilian put all his chips in the center of the table with 66 and received calls from two other opponents. The flop brought 9J7, favoring Leon Sturm, who held QJo and hit the top pair. The German bet one blind and received a raise from the Russian Aleksandr Blokhin, who had K3s.
However, the turn presented another J, while the river showed an A. Thus, Sturm took the main pot and eliminated the Brazilian. The German advanced to the heads-up but ended up facing the Finnish Samuel Vousden. With the victory, the star secured US$ 401,900 and won the 9th GGMillion$ High Roller title of his career.

Samuel Vousden establishes himself as the second greatest champion in history

Thus, only one player has more GGMillion$ High Roller titles than Samuel Vousden. The Russian Artur Martirosian leads the historical ranking with 13 wins. However, this week’s triumph placed the Finnish player in second place alone, surpassing the Australian Michael Addamo, who has eight titles.
In addition, Vousden had to overcome Aleksandr Blokhin during the 3-handed to reach the decisive confrontation. The Finnish player won an all-in of KJo against Q8s and advanced to the heads-up with an approximate three-to-one chip lead over Leon Sturm. Therefore, the champion’s definition took only about ten minutes.
Finally, the last hand started with a mini-raise from Leon Sturm, who held ATs. Then, Samuel Vousden responded with an all-in holding 33. The German called immediately and saw the flop present JK3, giving the Finnish player a set. The turn also brought an Ace, creating some hope for Sturm. However, the river showed a 5, confirming Vousden’s victory and securing the Finnish star’s 9th GGMillion$ High Roller title of his career.
