The BSOP One has already established itself as one of the most luxurious stages of the Brazilian poker circuit. In this edition, big names in the modality were present at the Palácio Tangará, in São Paulo. However, the one who celebrated an important title was Márcio Clare, who overcame a final table full of stars and won the R$ 25k Main Event.

Thus, Márcio Clare lifted the champion’s trophy and secured a prize of R$ 317,430. The amount was defined after an agreement in the heads-up against Portuguese Pedro Neves, who received R$ 327,570 for having a larger chip count at the time of the negotiation.

Unprecedented champion on the circuit

However, Márcio Clare was not the only player to lift a trophy at BSOP One. The tournament that closed the series had a R$ 10,000 buy-in and registered 61 entries. At the end of the dispute, Edmílson Rosa won his first career title on the circuit and took home R$ 130,000.
In addition, the prize pool definition also happened after an agreement between the finalists. Fabricio Nociolini finished in second place and received R$ 120,000. Bruno Desimoni completed the podium by pocketing R$ 65,000 for third place. Furthermore, well-known names such as Aldo Dias and Lucas Scafini also made an appearance at the final table.

From Counter-Strike to poker

However, the most emblematic story of this edition of BSOP One emerged in the Ladies Event. The champion of the R$ 1,000 buy-in tournament had already collected important achievements, but in another modality. Gabriela Freindorfer has already won a women’s world championship in Counter-Strike and has now also reached the top of the podium in poker.
Finally, the title guaranteed Gabriela Freindorfer a prize of R$ 7,000. The player faced a high-level 3-handed against experienced professionals from the circuit. Andressa Lincoln finished in second place and received R$ 4,700, while Regina Cassab completed the podium by taking home R$ 3,000 for third place.
