The second day of KSOP Iguazú was marked by the title of Chilean Ignácio Carriez. The player overcame the 320 entries of the Warm-Up, a tournament with a buy-in of R$ 1,000, and climbed to the top of the podium. In addition, the achievement earned the champion a prize of R$ 55,000, who defeated Argentine Matias Ivan Sayavedra in the heads-up.

However, the finalists were not the only South Americans highlighted in the decision. The final table featured a strong foreign presence throughout the dispute. Furthermore, the podium was completely dominated by players from outside Brazil, as the third place also ended with an Argentine. Francisco Javier De Belaustegui secured the bronze medal.
In addition, the champion celebrated the achievement greatly in the first days of the series held in Puerto Iguazú. “It’s always very important to start winning in the first tournament. The place is perfect,” the player told Mundo Poker. Furthermore, he has already defined his next goals for the stage. “I’m going to enter the Main Event and, if nothing works out, the R$ 15,000 Championship will be my total focus,” declared Ignácio Carriez.
Moreover, the highest-placed Brazilian in the tournament was Thiago de Camargo Cezar. He finished in fifth place and received R$ 15,500. Subsequently, two other Brazilians also left the competition. Raul Fernando Genz finished in sixth place, while Marcos Henrique de Araujo Martins took seventh position. Fernando Machinesque completed the final table in ninth place.

However, Ignácio Carriez was not the only player to win a trophy on the second day of KSOP Iguazú. José Humberto secured his second title in the series by winning the Kings Turbo PLO. The tournament registered 23 entries with a buy-in of R$ 1,000 and awarded the champion a prize of R$ 8,700.
Finally, Alan Ossowski also celebrated a victory. The player won the title of the DeepStack KO, an event that gathered 55 entries with a buy-in of R$ 750. In the heads-up, he defeated Wagner Pereira and received R$ 7,800 for the achievement. Meanwhile, the runner-up took home a reward of R$ 4,800.
