Over four days of the tournament, Naseem Salem navigated the tables until he managed to beat the entire field of 627 entries. For this impeccable performance, the American not only won the bracelet but also **a haul of US$ 1,089,964**. The result surpassed **all other prizes of his life in live poker**, according to Hendon Mob.
In the heads-up, Salem dethroned Alexis Martinez, who took home US$ 726,598. But this final duel came after both dispatched very heavy names from the scene throughout the FT. **The decision welcomed figures of the caliber of Chris Brewer, Roman Hrabec, Joey Weissman, and Cliff Josephy**.

Although Naseem Salem **started the final duel at a chip count disadvantage**, it didn’t take long for him to turn the game around against Alexis Martinez. After that, he went on a positive streak to reach the final hand with AQo versus JJ. **The victory came thanks to an A on the turn**, and the board had no other impact on the play.
WSOP Event 11 distributed **US$ 5,831,100** among the top 95 finishers, and the prize zone was obviously packed with stars. Among them, two representatives from Brazil: **Renan Bruschi** finished in 44th place and won **US$ 25,978**, while **João Simão** was the 70th placed, leaving with **US$ 19,999**.
