This week’s GGMillion$ recorded 255 entries, and by beating this highly qualified field, “Isildur” earned US$ 482.277. Additionally, he also secured an entry to the GGMillion$ Live Paradise, worth US$ 10 thousand. In a tough heads-up, he overcame the Swiss Linus Loeliger, who took home US$ 371.886.
And it wasn’t just “Isildur” who represented Brazil at this final table. Dalton Hobold was also present, finishing in eighth place for US$ 78.179. He fell in a two-pair vs. set cooler, going all in on the turn and not receiving the help he needed on the river. His KJo was no match for Roeland Peeks’ 33 on the K83J6 board.

The final confrontation between “Isildur” and Loeliger lasted about 40 minutes. The Brazilian started with the chip lead but had difficulty pulling away. At certain moments, he saw the Swiss take the lead, and the battle was extended.
When the stacks were balanced, “Isildur” went all in on the river with 44, and the board showed A86J4 with three spades. Holding A5 of diamonds, Loeliger trusted his top pair and called, leaving himself with less than 1 bb. At the showdown, he saw the result favored the Brazilian, and in an automatic all in on the next hand, the Swiss bowed out.
