Brazilian star Gabriel Tavares returned to the spotlight in online poker this Monday (25). The Samba Team professional went far in the expensive tournaments of the Anniversary Series, leading the green and yellow session on PokerStars.

With the nickname “gtavares10”, Gabriel Tavares stood out by finishing second among 43 entries in Event 104-High (US$ 5,200 NLH Turbo), earning US$ 54,155. The only one able to surpass him in this contest was the legendary Niklas Astedt “Lena900” from Sweden, who took the title and a prize of US$ 79,096.
Additionally, Gabriel Tavares also performed well in 103-Medium (US$ 2,100 NLH). He ended the campaign in fifth place in the field of 63 entries, pocketing another US$ 11,731. Thus, with just two results, the star totaled a beautiful US$ 65,886.

However, the Brazilian results extended to several other contests in the Anniversary Series. In 97-High (US$ 1,050 NLH 7-Max), for example, Rodrigo Seiji “seijistar” was second out of 168 for US$ 28,000, with Thiago Crema “KKremate” in fifth for US$ 10,500.
Meanwhile, in 104-Medium (US$ 530 NLH Turbo), the main Brazilian title of the day was won by Gabriel Moura “aaurelio”. The player dispatched 216 entries and earned US$ 24,394, with Ramon Kropmanns “ramonkrop” in third for US$ 14,175, and Diogo Franco “dfranco13” in sixth for US$ 6,279.
