Austrian Matthias Eibinger is enjoying successful days in South Korea. Shortly after reaching the heads-up of the 50K PLO Mystery Bounty, he once again performed well in the four-card game and won the Triton Jeju PLO Main Event, pocketing seven digits this Tuesday (31).

Matthias Eibinger became known precisely for winning a Triton Main Event during the Monte Carlo stop in 2023. On that occasion, he pocketed US$ 3,4 million, his main prize to date. Now, he joins the select group that has ME titles in both Hold’em and Omaha on the Super High Roller circuit.
In short, Matthias Eibinger beat a field of 65 entries in the PLO Main Event, which had a buy-in of US$ 100 thousand. For this victory, he pocketed no less than US$ 1.787.000. He had already shown his skills in the four-card game at the last WSOP Paradise, where he won the 75K Triton PLO for US$ 1,5 million and the bracelet.

This time, the journey was solid. Eibinger started the final table with double the chips compared to the second-place finisher, and even though he was behind at the start of the heads-up, he quickly strung together three double-ups to retake the lead. In a Q844 versus 7652 double-suited, he settled the score with a full house on the 87433 board.

Furthermore, Triton Jeju also concluded the competitions for Event 17 (US$ 25.000 PLO 6-Handed). In this competition, the field attracted 53 entries, and Chan Wai Leong confirmed another title for Malaysia. He pocketed US$ 387 thousand by beating American Sean Rafael in the heads-up, and the 150K champion, Paul Phua, completed the podium.
