Thus, the Phase 1 tournaments start on June 28. Players will be able to register daily throughout the qualifying period. After that, all survivors will return for Phase 2, scheduled for September 6, when the decisive stage of the event will take place.
In addition, PokerStars will still announce the guaranteed prize pool in the coming weeks. However, the operator has already confirmed that the tournament will feature a guarantee compatible with the importance of the celebration. The expectation is for another historic edition of one of the most prestigious events in online poker.
Format offers more flexibility to players

Unlike traditional tournaments, the phased format allows participants to choose the most convenient time to register. Thus, players gain multiple opportunities to advance to the final stage without needing to reserve several consecutive days to compete.

In addition, phased events tend to attract many players and generate more robust prize pools. Also, in many editions of this format, players who advance from the initial phase already secure a prize range. This feature makes the model one of the most popular options among recreational and regular players.
