Wellington Lessa was responsible for bringing the green and yellow flag to the spotlight.

A resident of France and a frequent figure in competitions held in the European country, Wellington Lessa didn’t take long to take advantage of EPT Paris. On Thursday (19), he entered Event 3 (€ 1.100 NLH Single Re-Entry) and finished in fourth place, an honorable campaign in the large field of 451 entries.
For this performance, Wellington Lessa pocketed € 29.070, opening the count of Brazilian payouts in the series. Finally, the tournament title stayed at home, with Clement Guilleminot, owner of a prize of € 84.760. He beat the Portuguese Daniel Custódio in heads-up, and the runner-up took € 52.930.
Big prizes start rolling at EPT Paris
On the first day of EPT Paris, the competitions consisted only of Day 1s and satellites. However, on Thursday, the money began to be distributed, and in large portions. The main result came from Bulgarian star Boris Angelov, who won the € 10.200 Mystery Bounty.

Furthermore, EPT Paris held the € 12.300 PokerStars Cuatro Knockout. This time, North America won with Santiago Plante. The Canadian emerged as the best among 27 entries and pocketed € 145.640, beating Punnat Punsri, from Thailand, in heads-up. The runner-up, finally, took € 85.300.
