Brazilians took advantage of the New Year Series on PokerStars until the last moment. This Tuesday (20), the series held its final actions, and Caio Vieira took down the special edition of the Mini Bounty Builder HR. Thus, he led the country’s players’ results for the session.

With the nickname “kaiuviera”, Caio Vieira won Event 141-Medium (US$ 55 NLH PKO Mini Bounty Builder HR) of the New Year Series, beating a field of 2,135 entries. As soon as he completed this feat, he pocketed US$ 12,779, in a competition that also had “BOCA950” in fifth place for US$ 3,303.
The New Year Series also closed its activities by holding three versions of the Super Tuesday. And Brazil took the wins in both the Medium and the Low. In the intermediate version, with a buy-in of US$ 109, Victor Hugo Bonifácio “victorbco” came out on top, overcoming 740 entries to take home US$ 12,556. Jonathan Wolter “jwolter” was in fifth place, earning US$ 3,242.

In the Low version, “daniellfun” secured the title for Brazil. He turned his US$ 11 buy-in into a prize of US$ 6,196 by surpassing 4,432 actions. The heads-up was 100% Brazilian, with “tbsowek” taking home US$ 4,416 in second place. In the High version, with a US$ 1,050 buy-in, Gabriel Tavares “gtavares10” (6th, US$ 6,257) and Felipe Boianovsky “lipe piv” (7th, US$ 4,836) cashed.
Furthermore, there was still time for other notable results on the final day of the New Year Series. Eder Campana “edercampana”, who had already been a highlight several other times throughout the series, performed well again, winning the 142-High (US$ 530 NLH Turbo PKO Deep Stack). By taking first place among 59 competitors, he earned US$ 11,133.
