The competition recorded 699 entries, and by overcoming this large field in the heads-up battle, Nilson Júnior pocketed a beautiful US$ 94,582. Brazil almost placed two players on the podium, as Gabriel Schroeder finished fourth in this contest, taking US$ 39,883.
At GGWF, each event has four variants, and therefore, Event 183 had an even higher buy-in version. In 183-Super, the buy-in was US$ 10,000, and Rodrigo Selouan performed well, finishing fourth in the field of 49 entries. Upon concluding his campaign, the Brazilian star highlighted on Tuesday (19) earned US$ 47,891.

And just like Nilson Júnior, several other Brazilians secured valuable titles in Thursday’s grind. Henrique Starling “GlUSEPPE CADURA” was the best among 679 entries in 179-High (US$ 320 The Great Wall), taking US$ 29,742, while Yago Simplício finished fourth and took home US$ 13,636.
In 188-High (US$ 525 Thursday Twister), Dante Goya outlasted 230 competitors, earning US$ 28,325. In 186-High (US$ 250 Thursday Heater), José Carlos Brito “Beer4Me” was first out of 870 for US$ 26,898, with Eduardo Garla “Xapilskinha” in third (US$ 13,738) and Eduardo Rodrigues “CallMuckTyvm” in fifth (US$ 10,932).
