Brazil made a strong showing in the most expensive competition this Thursday (22) on PokerStars. The weekly US$1,050 Thursday Thrill, played in a PKO format, brought together some of the most famous nicknames on the red site, and Brazilian Alisson Piekazewicz managed to reach the podium.

Piloting the account “heyalisson”, Alisson Piekazewicz finished in third place in the 81-entry field of the Thursday Thrill. By securing this bronze medal, the national poker star pocketed US$11,738, the main prize among Brazilians in the session.
And besides Alisson Piekazewicz, the country also had another star among the top positions. Eder Campana “edercampana” finished in seventh place, leaving the competition with a total payout of US$4,613, adding the prize for his performance and the bounties collected throughout the tournament.

Furthermore, PokerStars’ daily tournaments also stood out again in the Brazilian report. In the US$55 Mini Bounty Builder HR, Victor Semeghini “visemeghini” became champion, surpassing 2,049 entries to take home US$11,101. The podium was entirely green and yellow, with Gilberto Tavares “Gilberto.gyn” in second (US$8,533) and João Marcos Dall’Astra “DallastraJM” in third (US$5,144).
Finally, in the cheaper version of the tournament where Alisson Piekazewicz stood out, Wagner Rogacheski “Rogacheski” was the big name. He finished third in the 795-action field of the US$109 Mini Thursday Thrill, taking home US$5,149. In fifth place was “RealDanCooper”, who had a payout of US$4,482.
