The expectations for the new TV table of this WSOP were huge. Since the beginning of the series, last Tuesday (26), the stage remained covered by a large curtain. The staff responsible for the area asked that no one take photos of the location. However, this Friday (29), the curtains finally fell and everyone was able to see the new structure.

Thus, players who were at the Paris Casino rushed to check out the main WSOP table, popularly known as the “mothership”. Daniel Negreanu recorded the moment in videos for his traditional vlog, accompanied by his friend and bracelet record holder Phil Hellmuth. The Brazilian Yuri Martins also showed the new space on social media.
In this way, Yuri Martins did not hide his excitement about the news. “Wow, they made an amazing upgrade, this is beautiful. Much bigger space”, commented TheNerdGuy. And the Brazilian is right. The new stage has 2,300 m², features 12,000 LED panels, houses 17 highlight tables, and also offers a rest area for the presenters.
In addition to this, “Poker.org” revealed that the assembly of the structure required about 8,000 hours of work. The broadcast premiere takes place this Friday with the Event #7 US$ 25K NLH Heads-Up. The broadcast will be free on the WSOP YouTube channel and is scheduled to start at 11:30 PM (Brasília time).

Meet the WSOP broadcast team

This year, one of the main novelties of WSOP 2026 is the return of the Main Event to ESPN. In addition, the final table of the main tournament of the series will take place almost a month after the nine finalists are determined. On July 13, the tournament will be paused when only nine players remain. The final decision is scheduled to take place between August 3 and 5.
Moreover, shortly before the start of the series, WSOP confirmed the professionals responsible for the broadcasts. David Williams, Maria Ho, Lon McEachern, Norman Chad, Joe Stapleton, Jeff Platt, Ali Nejad, and Nick Schulman will form the team in charge of narrating and commenting on the main actions of the tournaments.
Finally, the expectation of Brazilian fans is to see several representatives of the country shining at the “mothership” of the WSOP. Competing in the world series already represents a dream for any player. However, playing in front of the cameras at the main table of the event makes this experience even more special. Now that the stage has been revealed, all that remains is to hope that Brazilians appear frequently in the broadcasts.
