The BSOP Winter opened its activities with great emotions throughout Tuesday (21). The first day of the series in São Paulo (SP) featured Day 1 of the Invitational, including Neymar at the tables; the initial round of the CBPE, and four one-day tournaments. Among these, Daniel Wellington won the main title.

A frequent figure among the main Brazilian results in online tournaments, Daniel Wellington showed that he also performs well at live tables. He won the 6K One Day Deepstack at BSOP Winter, beating a field of 50 entries to win R$ 78 thousand.
The final table won by Daniel Wellington had strong foreign representation. Of the seven prize winners, three came from neighboring countries, including the two who completed the podium. The Brazilian beat Andrés Marquinez, from Colombia, in the heads-up, while the Argentine Ezequiel Ferretty finished third.

The second most expensive one-day tournament went into the early hours, starting at 10 PM. The 4K One Day PKO registered 33 entries, and Bruno Seki beat all opponents to pocket R$ 39 thousand. Furthermore, Lincoln Furukawa was the last opponent in his way, leaving with R$ 27 thousand in second place. Marcos Canegusuco completed the podium with R$ 14,400.
Finally, there was also a Mixed Games event, and a more accessible one, two characteristics that will be present daily at this BSOP Winter. Allan Batista was the best among 31 entries in the R$ 2,500 HORSE, pocketing R$ 24 thousand. In the Super 500, Paulo Cezar Santana beat a field of 242 participants to become champion and take R$ 18 thousand.
