Renato Valentim achieved a beautiful figure this Thursday (23) at GGPoker. He won the weekly US$ 150 Thursday Throwdown, turning the intermediate buy-in into the main Brazilian prize in the site’s session. The country had three representatives at the final table and also did well in the more expensive version.

This week’s Thursday Throwdown registered 1,542 entries, and Renato Valentim was able to overcome the entire field. For the feat, he pocketed US$ 24,570, combining regular payout and bounties. Still on the podium, Raphael Coelho “Phaelzin” was third for US$ 10,626, and further down, Valdo Costa “Gamito_” finished seventh for US$ 5,463.
Similarly, in the more expensive version, three other Brazilians performed well. Although he did not reach the podium, Neville Costa “Lionevil” took a good US$ 10,365 by finishing fourth out of 161 in the US$ 1,050 Thursday Throwdown HR. In addition, “Vilmica” was fifth for US$ 6,624, and Breno Drumond, doing well in bounties, left with US$ 9,399 in seventh.

In addition to good campaigns in weekly tournaments, Brazilians also had a strong presence in some of GGPoker’s most valuable daily events. In the US$ 54 Bounty Hunters Daily Main, for example, “GuiguiKK” came close, finishing second out of 5,875 to pocket US$ 14,952.
In the US$ 400 Bounty Forty Stack HR, Brazil took the top spot with Luan Barbosa. The professional beat 101 entries, securing US$ 8,975 for the feat. And finally, in the US$ 525 Daily Heater HR, Marcelo Aziz took silver, finishing second out of 91 for a total prize of US$ 6,773.
