Pedro Cavalieri will compete this Tuesday (27) for what could be one of the biggest prizes in Brazilian poker history. This is because, on GGPoker, the professional has qualified for the final table of the GGMillion$ Main Event, a competition with a buy-in of US$10,300 and a guarantee of US$10 million.

The competition, which held several Day 1s throughout last week, amassed 1,325 entries and welcomed the 129 qualifiers for Day 2 this Monday (26), with everyone in the money. The action unfolded until the formation of the final table, and when play stopped, Pedro Cavalieri advanced with the eighth largest stack, of 7,655,643 chips, under his alias “gord1sc0”.
Leading the counts is Russian player Nikita Kuznetsov, with 35,626,207 chips. With blinds at 175,000/350,000 with a 45,000 ante, this stack is equivalent to almost 102 big blinds. The final table, as expected, is star-studded, with Belarusian Mikita Badziakouski in second place. Adrian Mateos is also a major highlight of the final decision.

With a large audience presence, the GGMillion$ Main Event notably surpassed the initial guarantee of US$10 million. In total, the prize pool reached US$12,852,500, and besides Pedro Cavalieri, other Brazilians cashed. Upon busting at the semi-final table, Iago Botelho earned US$102,974 for 16th place.

However, the list included even more Brazilians, such as Renan Bruschi, 20th place for US$88,466. Thiago Crema (38th, US$56,486), Brunno Botteon (44th, US$48,784), Alisson Piekazewicz (66th, US$42,210), and Kelvin Kerber (68th, US$42,210) were also among the Brazilians to finish in the money.
The GGMillion$ Main Event will hold its decisive actions starting at 3 PM (Brasília time) this Tuesday, and all qualifiers have already secured at least US$222,859. Those who reach the podium will take home seven-figure prizes, while for the champion, the incredible prize of US$1,755,815 is reserved.
