On this Monday (26th) at Costa do Sauípe (BA), the R$ 5,000 Main Event of BSOP Summer brought together the qualifiers from the initial rounds to play Day 2. At the end of the stage, 31 players remained at the tables, and professional Douglas Lopes leads the chip count of the remaining players.

In total, the BSOP Summer Main Event registered 854 entries, reaching a prize pool of R$ 3,377,770. At the moment the field was reduced to 31 competitors, Douglas Lopes had accumulated 2,595,000 chips. The player from Pernambuco is followed by Sinval Domingues from Brasilia (2,265,000) and Rafael D’Auria from São Paulo (2,135,000).
The rest of the Main Event chip count includes other big names, famous in the scene. Completing the top 5 are Ramon Kropmanns and Lucas Rocha, while figures like Vinícius Perri, Gerson Braga, Gabriel Medeiros and the Colombian Carlos Serrano are also on the list.

Similarly, other prominent names were among the last eliminated from Day 2. For example, Thiago Tsukamoto (32nd, R$ 13,290), Jean Canoff (35th, R$ 13,290), Thales Morelli (37th, R$ 13,290) and Rafael Mota (60th, R$ 9,950) concluded their campaigns.
Day 3 of the BSOP Summer Main Event is scheduled for this Tuesday (27th) at 2 PM (Brasília time), resuming the action with blinds at 15,000/30,000 with a 30,000 ante. The qualifiers have already guaranteed at least R$ 15,350, and the game is expected to continue until the formation of the final table. The champion’s prize is R$ 600,000.
