This Tuesday (27) at Costa do Sauípe (BA), the final table of the R$ 5,000 Main Event of BSOP Summer was formed. Aloísio Dourado from Brasilia, a WSOP bracelet winner and Mixed Games expert, is in the lead in the race for the title of the main event of the first stage of the season.

Day 3, which started with 31 players, saw the total field of 854 entries reduced to nine, and when play stopped, Aloísio Dourado bagged 10,155,000 chips. Shortly after him in the standings is a fellow resident of Brasilia, Mateus Moraes, with 6,310,000. Lucas Rocha from São Paulo, a professional from Samba Team, completes the top 3 with 4,225,000 chips.

Undoubtedly, Brasília (DF) is being very well represented in this Main Event. Besides the top two in the chip count, the federal capital almost had another player at the final table: Sinval Domingues was the bubble of the FT, finishing in tenth place for R$ 38,650. Other notable eliminations near the end of the day were Douglas Lopes (11th, R$ 38,650) and Gerson Braga (13th, R$ 34,600).

The BSOP Summer Main Event will hold its final table this Wednesday (28), starting at 2 PM (Brasília time), resuming play at blinds 40,000/80,000 with an 80,000 ante. All qualifiers have already secured at least R$ 45,000, and the champion will take home a notable prize of R$ 600,000.
