Brazil has another great reason to celebrate in online poker. This Tuesday (18), Dante Goya won the title of the US$ 10,000 GGMillion$ High Rollers, one of the main weekly tournaments on GGPoker. With this, the two-time WSOP champion confirmed a spectacular run at the tables.

Thus, the player from Ceará overcame a field of 212 entries to take home a prize of US$ 415,765. He also secured a package worth US$ 10,000 for the WSOP Paradise. Therefore, the victory represents another impressive result for Goya in a series of great performances.
In this way, Dante had already reached three final tables of the GGMillion$. However, the title was still missing from his resume. In the two previous final table appearances, the Brazilian finished in fourth place. This time, however, he went further and finished on top.
In addition to the title, the win keeps Brazil in the spotlight in the GGMillion$. After all, Dante Goya secured the third consecutive title of the tournament for Brazilians. Before him, Alisson Piekazewicz and Carlos Ribeiro had also won the most coveted weekly online poker tournament.

Dante Goya dominates the final table and confirms the title

However, at the final table Dante Goya started with the third largest stack. Meanwhile, Mikalai Vaskaboinikau was the first player eliminated. Then, the tournament reached the final eight after about two hours of play.
However, Pascal Lefrancois left the competition in eighth place. From there, Dante took the lead in the decision. The Brazilian eliminated Paul Hong and later won a big pot against “Und3rDogg”, winning a confrontation of AK against QTs.
Finally, Goya kept the pressure until the heads-up. The Brazilian entered the title match with a comfortable lead over Biao Ding. In the decisive hand, Dante put all his chips in the middle with 22 against A6. A 2 appeared on the flop and confirmed the Brazilian’s victory in the GGMillion$ High Rollers.
