The new edition of WCOOP already has a start date on PokerStars. Between September 6 and 30, the platform’s main online series will bring together major tournaments and different formats for players of various levels.

Thus, the 2026 edition will have 121 events and 350 tournaments. Buy-ins range from US$ 5.50 to US$ 25,000, while each event will have High, Medium, and Low categories. This is the traditional format of the main series on the red spade site.
However, throughout the series, players will find formats such as No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, HORSE, 8-Game, Razz, and Progressive Knockout. Additionally, the schedule will include Mystery Bounty tournaments and specific contests for different formats.
In addition, another highlight is the six Main Events of WCOOP 2026. Together, they total US$ 6.5 million in guarantees. The NLHE tournaments take place on September 27, while the PLO Main Events are scheduled for September 28.

Main Events and World Championship are the series’ attractions

However, among the main tournaments, the US$ 10,300 NLHE Main Event H will have US$ 2.5 million guaranteed. The US$ 1,050 NLHE Main Event M will feature US$ 2 million guaranteed, while the Low version, at US$ 109, will have US$ 1.25 million guaranteed.
Thus, the PLO Main Events also promise big prizes. The US$ 10,300 PLO Main Event H will have US$ 400 thousand guaranteed, while the US$ 1,050 and US$ 109 tournaments will have US$ 250 thousand and US$ 100 thousand guaranteed, respectively.
Finally, WCOOP 2026 will have 10 World Championship Events in different formats. Among them are championships of 6-Max, HORSE, Razz, PKO, Triple Draw, PLO8, 8-Game, and Women’s NLHE. Additionally, the series starts with the final phase of the Sunday Million 20th Anniversary, which will have US$ 5 million guaranteed on September 6.
