Brazilian professional Fabiano Kovalski had an unforgettable journey at the EPT Barcelona 2026. The traditional stage of the European Poker Tour witnessed two green and yellow titles, both by the Samba Team star. The last one was even more special, as it was the € 10,300 High Roller.

Concluded on Saturday (29), the last day of the series, the High Roller had 429 entries, and the title earned Fabiano Kovalski the biggest payout of his career – no matter how decorated it is. The Brazilian received € 727,280 for the win, defeating Belgian Igor Picone in the heads-up.
Champion of the € 3,250 Mystery Bounty at the same EPT Barcelona, Fabiano Kovalski was not such a favorite for the second title at the start of the High Roller final table. This is because he started the decision with a modest 14 big blinds. However, he held on to secure a first pay jump and then achieved a double to grow his chip count.

After that, he never looked back, taking the lead to surge to the title. Picone, as runner-up, took home € 595,920, and Lithuanian Gediminas Uselis completed the podium. On the High Roller Final Day, Brazil also had Felipe Boianovsky in 17th for € 43,700, and Marcos Exterkotter in 21st for € 33,100.

Furthermore, it is worth mentioning two other Brazilian presences at final tables on the last day of EPT Barcelona. In the € 2,200 Deep Stack, Eller Kirsten reached fourth place in the field of 316 entries, securing € 41,220. Finally, in the cheapest event, the € 330 Deep Stack, Alexandre Sako was sixth out of 418 for € 4,780.
