With the nickname “gtavares10”, Gabriel Tavares is participating in the highest buy-in events, and the results prove that the investment is paying off. In the most recent session, he finished third in the field of 40 entries in Event 38-High (US$ 10,300 NLH PKO High Roller), earning US$ 54,538 for his performance.
When it comes to titles, the Brazilian standout of Sunday was Murilo Fidelis. PokerStars’ “M.Flush.N” won Event 37-High (US$ 530 NLH PKO Sunday Warm-Up), overcoming 419 competitors to pocket US$ 32,703.

In the US$ 55 Mini Bounty Builder HR, which had a special edition valid for the WCOOP, Brazil made a one-two finish. Among 3,237 entries, Rodrigo Ono “Rodrigo154” was crowned champion, taking home US$ 17,612. Bruno Carbonera “dorgas9” came right after, in second place, securing US$ 12,367.
And several other titles formed Brazil’s hall of results on WCOOP Sunday. In 41-Medium (US$ 55 NLH 6-Max Hyper Mystery Bounty Session Closer), for example, “joaom1993” beat 2,091 entries to pull in US$ 12,582. Meanwhile, in 36-Low (US$ 11 NLH Sunday Kickoff), it was Lucas Yamashita “Yamashita17” among 5,839 participants, resulting in US$ 8,135.
