Shortly after kicking off the season in style with the PGT Kickoff, the PokerGO Tour has continued to host competitions in its Las Vegas (USA) studio. Now, it’s the turn of the PGT Mixed Games, covering the most diverse poker variants. And in the first two events, Chino Rheem and Justin Liberto took the wins.

A renowned star on the North American scene, Chino Rheem achieved his ninth PGT title by winning Event 1 (US$ 5,100 HORSE) of the PGT Mixed Games. He overcame a field of 101 entries, and after making a deal with Dylan Linde, confirmed the title for a prize of US$ 112,100. Linde, in turn, took home US$ 100,000.
This new achievement places Chino Rheem in fifth place among the biggest PokerGO Tour champions of all time. Above his nine trophies are only Sam Soverel (13), Alex Foxen (12), Stephen Chidwick (12), and Daniel Negreanu (11). And of these nine, five came in the 2025 season, proving the star’s great form.

While Chino Rheem became a nine-time circuit champion on Wednesday (4th), Justin Liberto won his first PokerGO Tour trophy on Thursday (5th). The American from the state of Maryland took down Event 2 (US$ 5,100 8-Game), surpassing 98 competitors to earn US$ 127,400, the largest prize of the series so far.

This unprecedented title in Justin Liberto’s career came in style. In heads-up play, he started with fewer chips than Calvin Anderson, a big name in online poker. However, he showed his skills, especially in 2-7 Triple Draw, and turned the tables, securing the win and leaving the runner-up with US$ 80,850.

The PGT Mixed Games will continue to host tournaments in various formats and cover different disciplines until next Thursday (12th). In total, there will be seven tournaments with buy-ins ranging from US$ 5,000 to US$ 25,000. And right after the series, there will be the Super High Roller Bowl Mixed, with a US$ 100,000 buy-in and a star-studded field, including Brazilian Yuri Martins.
