Throughout the week, Brazil has held important positions in PokerStars’ SCOOP Warm-Up. And this Thursday (5th), it was no different, with Adriano Volpe responsible for the main result. He secured a good payday by winning Event 21-Low (US$ 109 NLH PKO Thursday Thrill).

Under the nickname “€plov2”, Adriano Volpe reached the top of the 1,365-player field in Event 21-Low. Thus, he pocketed US$ 14,482, a sum no other Brazilian achieved in the session. This event also had Fillipe Everton “Fillipinho” on the podium, in third place for US$ 6,755, and “letmetrap” in fourth, leaving with US$ 5,488.
Similarly, Brazil had a strong presence in the 20-Medium (US$ 55 NLH PKO Big Knockouts Mini Bounty Builder HR). In this case, it was a green and yellow (Brazilian flag colors) double, with Leonardo Zani “LeoPokerZani” winning among 2,559 entries for US$ 12,181, and Alexandre Vargas “AGV AA90” in second. The runner-up, finally, pocketed US$ 8,069.

In the High version of the competition won by Adriano Volpe, Brazil did not fail to appear on the podium. In the 21-High (US$ 1,050 NLH PKO Thursday Thrill), Gabriel Tavares “gtavares10” finished in third place in the qualified field of 75 entries. As a reward for his campaign, the star took home US$ 5,991.
