After a special week, in which the GGMillion$ was worth a WSOP Circuit ring and delivered millionaire scores – one of them for the Brazilian Matheus Machado – the traditional US$ 10 thousand buy-in tournament from GGPoker returned to its normal schedule. This Sunday (5), Day 1 unfolded until the formation of the FT, and Lucas Rocha is one of the survivors.

A professional from Samba Team, Lucas Rocha appears among the nine survivors of the 210-entry field, holding 2.745.626 chips (45,8 bbs), the fourth-best mark in the partial count. The current chip leader is the North American Aram Oganyan, who plays from Mexico and has 4.634.041, that is, 77,2 big blinds. He is followed closely by the Austrian Bernhard Binder.

With a US$ 2 million guarantee, this week’s GGMillion$ slightly exceeded the initial amount, reaching US$ 2.037.000 in the prize pool. The minimum payout of the final table, which will take place starting at 15h (Brasília time) this Tuesday (7), is of US$ 51.480. Whoever is crowned champion will take US$ 411.843, in addition to a buy-in for the live version of the tournament at WSOP Paradise.

This prize pool covered the top 25 finishers, and in the money zone, besides Lucas Rocha, other stars represented Brazil. Cashing with the green and yellow flag were Kelvin Kerber (18th, US$ 23.134), Bruno Volkmann (19th, US$ 23.134) and Alisson Piekazewicz (23rd, US$ 20.370).
