Brazilian “rmpkrbr” scores big by winning the Irish Open Afterparty Sunday Special

Even though the Irish Open Afterparty is an Irish-themed series on PokerStars, the flag appearing most at the top is Brazil’s. This Monday (13), “rmpkrbr” took the green and yellow country to the top of Event 3, the turbo version of this week’s Sunday Special.

With a Mystery Bounty format and entries at US$ 75, Spraggy’s Sunday Special attracted 5.554 entries. After two days of competition, “rmpkrbr” confirmed the title, totaling US$ 25.804. Still on the podium, Brazil also had Bráulio Bianchetti “bianchettibh”, pocketing US$ 13.459 in third.

However, because the envelopes can deliver big scores even before the final stretch of the competition, one Brazilian stood out for the amount won even though he didn’t make it that far. Furthermore, “luisfdos” was first out of 2.562 in Event 9 (US$ 22 NLH 7-Max Deepstack The Session) for US$ 6.705. Meanwhile, Bernardo Peters “Bernardo807” beat the 1.934 entries in Event 13 (US$ 22 NLH PKO Mini Blarney Bluff) and left with US$ 5.029.
