Felipe Ketzer pockets six figures with runner-up finish in Event 1 of GGMillion$ Week

GGPoker started another edition of the GGMillion$ Week this Sunday (18th), a series that promotes an entire week of High Roller competitions on the site. And right in the first event, Brazil made a strong presence, with Felipe Ketzer pocketing six figures.

Felipe Ketzer’s prize came in Event 1 (US$ 525 Super Kickoff Bounty Hunters HR), an expensive yet gigantic tournament, with 4,887 entries and over US$ 2.5 million in prizes. The professional finished in second place in this imposing field, thus pocketing US$ 134,213.

Similarly, Rafael Furlanetto “riskgambler” also made the most of the first day of GGMillion$ Week, going far in Event 3 (US$ 1,050 GGMasters High Rollers). Among 1,216 participations, the star finished in fourth place, securing US$ 84,947.

However, GGPoker also held competitions for the Winter Giveaway Series. In Event 36 (US$ 200 Sunday Snowfall), Eduardo Jannotti “EJBrocador” did as well as Felipe Ketzer by going far, winning the tournament among 3,810 entries. For the title, he took home US$ 76,243, while Daniel Wellington “danielwbr” was in fifth place (US$ 23,089) and Wesley José, in sixth (US$ 17,128).

Jannotti, in fact, appeared among the highlights of another competition, which also had a strong Brazilian contingent going far. He finished third out of 1,519 in the US$ 250 Sunday Winter Classic, pocketing another US$ 26,050 in the tournament won by compatriot “PPMPJP”, who pocketed US$ 43,813 for the win. Felipe Baraky was fourth for US$ 20,087, and João Venturelli “msxiter” finished fifth for US$ 15,489.
