This Tuesday (17), the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju saw more champions in South Korea. Between the previous session and the most recent one, three players celebrated titles, which are traditionally very valuable at the festival. Event 1 was concluded, as well as the last two in the Short Deck modality.

In the short deck game, there was a US$ 50 thousand buy-in tournament and another for US$ 100 thousand. In the cheaper one, Kiat Lee was crowned champion in a Malaysian dominance, with two compatriots completing the podium. He beat a field of 60 entries, pocketing US$ 840 thousand by overcoming Paul Phua in heads-up play.

In the 100K, the champion’s figure reached seven digits, and the winner was none other than Daniel Dvoress. The Canadian pocketed US$ 1.380.000 by beating the star-studded field of 46 entries, preventing a new title for American Jason Koon at the festival where he is so successful. The runner-up, therefore, took home US$ 997 thousand.

And at the start of the No-Limit Hold’em competitions, Armenian Aren Bezhanyan won the first title. He was able to overcome a notable field of 247 entries in Event 1 (US$ 20.000 NLH 8-Handed), including a star-studded final table. For this feat, he earned US$ 990 thousand.
Two major stars of the world scene completed the podium: Aleksejs Ponakovs and Kayhan Mokri. In addition to the final table participants, other big names appeared in good positions in the ITM, such as Sergio Aido (11th, US$ 86.500), Artur Martirosian (14th, US$ 68.000) and Juan Pardo (17th, US$ 60.500).
