At Triton Jeju, a Super High Roller series rolling in South Korea, great names from the world scene have been gathering and crowning famous champions. And among the most recent, Austrian Bernhard Binder stole the show, surpassing US$ 2 million by nailing Event 8 on the schedule.

Event 8 was a NLH 7-Handed with a US$ 125,000 buy-in. Despite the enormous entry price, the competition attracted a good field of 84 entries, reaching US$ 10.5 million in the prize pool. Bernhard Binder defeated all opponents to secure nothing less than US$ 2,137,953, a value set according to an agreement reached at 3-handed.
Binder became famous in the High Roller poker universe at the end of last year. In the Bahamas, he nailed the Super Main Event of WSOP Paradise, cashing nothing less than US$ 10 million. Now, this new result proves that the Caribbean title was no accident. Completing the podium were Danilo Velasevic and Kiat Lee.

Throughout the tournament, Bernhard Binder had a solid trajectory, always maintaining himself among the largest stacks. At the start of the FT, he appeared on the chip count only behind Lee, but at the time of the 3-handed agreement, the Austrian was already the leader. In heads-up, he needed only one hand to dispatch Velasevic and confirm the very valuable title.

Brazil in double dose in the FT of Event 9
In the same session that Bernhard Binder went to glory, Triton Jeju also held Event 9, a NLH Turbo with a US$ 30,000 buy-in. Among the finalists, there were two Brazilians: Kelvin Kerber (5th, US$ 219,000), who had already made an FT in the series; and Pedro Padilha (6th, US$ 172,000). Further down in the final standings, Felipe Ketzer also appeared, in 15th for US$ 48,333.
However, who surpassed the entire field of 99 entries was Moroccan Mehdi Chaoui, pocketing US$ 747,000 for the feat. In addition to the strong Brazilian duo, the final table featured several other beasts, such as Americans Seth Davies and Alex Foxen, and Austrian Daniel Rezaei, champion of Event 6.
