In another productive session for Brazilians on PokerStars, Guilherme Teles took down Event 16-Medium (US$ 55 NLH 6-Max PKO Mini Bounty Builder HR) of the SCOOP Warm-Up. On Wednesday (4), the professional outlasted a large field to secure the main Brazilian prize of the session.

On PokerStars, Guilherme Teles plays under the screen name “GoTelesGO”, and in the 16-Medium, he managed to beat a field of 2,278 entries. Thus, he earned US$ 13,857, combining regular prize money and bounties. It was the largest prize of the day on the site among Brazilian representatives.
In addition, Brazil also won the more expensive version, Event 16-High (US$ 530 NLH 6-Max PKO Bounty Builder HR). However, the title won by “Charbel.Zaha” did not reach Guilherme Teles’s figure, earning US$ 11,871 for first place among 84 entries. In the same competition, Ettore Cesco, playing as “Team PokerBR”, finished fourth for US$ 4,375.

Rounding out the results from the SCOOP Warm-Up, Brazil also had a strong showing in Event 17-High (US$ 109 NLH Mystery Bounty). Although he didn’t reach the final table, William Barbosa, playing as “Williaml666”, made excellent use of the mystery envelopes and cashed for US$ 6,002, finishing in tenth place out of 896 entries.
However, Wednesday’s session also featured notable results for Brazilians in PokerStars’ regular competitions. Daniel Wellington, playing as “77.danielw”, was the standout performer, winning the US$ 215 StacKOsaurus among 117 competitors. For this title, he earned US$ 4,941.
