Sunday (1st) grinding on PokerStars marked the start of the SCOOP Warm-Up, a series that precedes the traditional first-half SCOOP. And as expected, Brazilians wasted no time filling their pockets, as Lucas Kauê did. A valuable podium placed him as the Brazilian highlight of the session.

Lucas Kauê, PokerStars’ “LucasKaueDzi”, finished in third place in Event 3-Medium (US$ 55 NLH PKO Mini Bounty Builder HR), which registered 5,618 entries. For this feat, the player pocketed US$ 12,264, the only Brazilian to break the five-digit barrier on the site’s Sunday session.
However, Brazilians also did well in other events. In the US$ 109 Sunday Warm-Up, Fernando Viana “fviana” took the win, surpassing 394 entries to take home US$ 6,577 in a Brazilian one-two finish, with Murilo Fidelis “M.Flush.N” in second, earning US$ 6,045.

Similarly, in the US$ 27 Sunday Eliminator, Brazil also occupied the top two positions. Among 2,634 entries, “zagaia011” emerged as the champion, pocketing US$ 6,134. Maurício Júnior “mauricioj100”, in turn, was the runner-up, securing US$ 5,622.
Furthermore, in the same SCOOP Warm-Up where Lucas Kauê started in style, other Brazilians also stood out. Gabriel Tavares “gtavares10” was fifth out of 261 in Event 3-High (US$ 530 NLH PKO Bounty Builder HR) for US$ 6,329, while “Adibarboza” was second out of 4,088 in Event 7-High (US$ 22 NLH Turbo PKO), winning US$ 6,100.
