Daniel Noronha conquers two main titles of the weekend at KSOP Rio

Professional Daniel Noronha feels very comfortable at the Kings Series of Poker tables. The current two-time ranking champion is already enjoying the KSOP Rio, the first stage of the season, and has collected two titles over the weekend. One of them was the valuable Super High Roller, with a buy-in of R$ 25,000.

The most expensive tournament of the series was played over two days and ended on Saturday (17th), registering 57 entries. By overcoming all opponents, Daniel Noronha pocketed R$ 330,000, a value determined after a deal with Daniel Croce in the heads-up. The runner-up thus took home R$ 270,000, while Argentinian Christian Sare completed the podium.

In the heads-up, he defeated Norwegian Birger Larsen, who took home R$ 29,000 plus rewards.

However, one day later, Larsen overcame the bad luck and achieved the long-awaited title on Brazilian soil. The Norwegian won the R$ 2,000 PLO5 PKO, surpassing 54 entries to take home R$ 29,000. It wasn’t the only foreign victory of the weekend, as Panamanian Ruben Lopez won the Turbo 500 for R$ 6,000, and Chilean Rodrigo Salazar pocketed the R$ 1,000 Kings Turbo KO for R$ 11,000.

Furthermore, during the KSOP Rio weekend, the always important Ladies Event also took place, attracting female players to the tables. The competition had a buy-in of R$ 500 and registered 47 participants, crowning Jessica Serial as champion. She took home R$ 6,000 by winning the title.
