As expected, the BSOP Millions broke records and delivered high prizes to players. The last stage of the Brazilian poker championship became the largest in the history of the mind sport in Latin America, attracting players from all over the world.

Thus, there were 16 days of event and impressive numbers. Over 106 tournaments held during BSOP Millions, the total prize pool distributed reached R$ 134.94 million. The amount is a new national poker record, breaking the R$ 96 million mark achieved in the previous edition of the same competition. This represents an increase of 40.5%.
However, despite being the Brazilian Poker Championship, players from all over the world participated in the competition. In total, representatives from 47 different countries were registered, coming from the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe. Furthermore, people from all Brazilian states were present at the event.

Other BSOP Millions numbers

However, other numbers from the series are impressive. To set up the structure, 56 hours were needed, with another 18 hours for dismantling. Approximately 750 professionals were directly involved in the execution of the event, in addition to thousands of others who provided indirect services in the hospitality, tourism, food, and transportation sectors.
Thus, 25,710 entries were registered over the 16 days of the event, in tournaments with buy-ins ranging from R$ 500 to R$ 500,000. The latter, in particular, was responsible for the largest individual prize ever awarded in Latin American poker: R$ 6 million, won by Czech champion Zdenek Zizka.
Finally, with the year’s stages concluded, the BSOP’s focus shifts to the 2026 season, which will mark the 20th Brazilian Poker Championship. The start will be at Costa do Sauípe, from January 23rd to 31st. The entire resort at the location, which hosts events like the Costa do Sauípe Open tennis tournament and the Sauípe Weekend music festival, will be reserved for the event.
