This stage of the CMP features R$ 1 million in guaranteed prize money, with R$ 400,000 exclusively for the Main Event. The first-place winner of the Main Event alone guarantees R$ 100,000 plus the champion’s ring. In addition, the diverse schedule includes formats that cater to everyone from recreational players to experienced competitors. Check it out:
- Warm Up H2 Bet — opening tournament, on April 30.
- 1 Day High Roller — premium format for high-level players.
- Ladies Event — tournament dedicated to the growing female presence in poker.
- Tag Team Event — doubles format, one of the most anticipated on the schedule.
- PL Omaha 5 High Roller Progressive Knockout — high-level variant with bounty format.
- Main Event — played over multiple days, with the final on May 7.
- CMP Fun Fest and High Roller Light P.KO — closing the championship in style.
Worth big wins and points
One of the great differentials of the CMP is its ranking system. This competition rewards the regularity and performance of competitors throughout all stages of the season. In 2026, the championship maintains three rankings: General, which will award R$ 100,000 and a Mineiro Champion bracelet, in addition to a spot in the 2027 Mineira Team; Omaha, worth R$ 20,000; and Ladies, with R$ 2,500 for the champion.

Furthermore, in addition to the annual rankings, the CMP has the Player of the Stage award, granted to the competitor who accumulates the highest number of points throughout the tournaments of each stage, with the exception of the Ladies tournament. The winner receives a package of buy-ins for all tournaments of the next stage.
The Campeonato Mineiro de Poker has five stops on the calendar, the first already held in February. For Diogo César, Commercial Director of Sierra Poker Sports, the championship represents much more than competition: “The CMP is today one of the main pillars of the development of the mind sport in Minas Gerais. In 2026, we continue to invest in structure, player experience, and valuing the ranking, which is one of our great differentials“.
