The professional from Paraná Alisson Piekazewicz arrived at the Final Day of the R$ 25,000 BSOP Championship with a wide lead and, throughout the round, managed to confirm this favoritism to be crowned champion of the main tournament on the last day of BSOP Winter. The win earned him a seven-figure payout.

The BSOP Championship of the mid-year stage of the Brazilian circuit recorded 240 entries, bringing seven players to the Final Day. Alisson Piekazewicz had a huge chip advantage and, in a way, managed to manage it throughout the FT, despite some setbacks. Still, he secured R$ 1,150,000.
The start of the Final Day followed a positive trend for Piekazewicz, but from the 5-handed stage, he saw his opponents grow. The player even gave up doubles to Gualter Salles, who would face him in the heads-up, and lost the lead when there were three players left.
Still, Piekazewicz managed to regain control by winning important pots, especially by making eliminations. By dispatching Renan Bruschi, he reached the HU with about three times more chips than Salles, and although the player from Rio de Janeiro got close at one point, he could not surpass the player from Paraná.

The final hand occurred when the stacks were close. After an initial raise, Salles announced all in, and Piekazewicz, with a slight advantage, had no difficulty calling with QQ. Salles held A4o, and although the flop JT4 gave him a pair, the turn T and the river T crowned the player from Paraná with a higher full house.
Therefore, Alisson Piekazewicz now reaches two titles in this current season of the Brazilian circuit. In January, at BSOP Summer, he won another robust tournament, the R$ 50,000 High Roller Championship. On that occasion, he pocketed R$ 310 thousand.
