Alec makes the call and takes a pot of over US$ 51 thousand
However, under pressure, Alec spent several minutes analyzing the situation. During his thought process, he admitted he did not know the opponent’s style and considered different possibilities before making the decision. Then, he stated: “This could go very wrong or very right. I don’t know anything about how you play, so this could be one of those situations where you always have the hand”.
Nevertheless, despite the doubt, Alec decided to call the bet. Shortly after, L tossed his cards into the muck without showing the bluff. Thus, the call was confirmed and the pot of US$ 51,125 went to Alec, who showed only the top pair to win the hand.
