However, Jackson will not completely leave the company. He will remain with Flutter until the end of the year, working as a consultant. Taylor, in turn, became president of the organization in May. Since then, the executive has also been involved in the improvement plan for FanDuel and international operations.

Thus, the change occurs at a time of financial pressure for the company. In the second quarter, Flutter recorded a loss of US$ 296 million. In the same period last year, the group had achieved a profit of US$ 37 million.

However, some markets showed positive results. Global revenue increased by 3% and reached US$ 4.33 billion. Additionally, international operations grew by 10%, with a highlight on Brazil, which saw a 64% increase.

Additionally, PokerStars appears among the main challenges for Dan Taylor. Flutter identified a decline in activity on the platform in different markets. Therefore, the company seeks to recover performance through integration with other ecosystems.

Thus, in North America, for example, PokerStars became part of the FanDuel platform. However, this process also increased the company’s costs. In the second quarter, Flutter recorded US$ 120 million in restructuring and integration expenses.

Finally, the company expects to achieve financial results from these changes. The projection points to US$ 300 million in annualized savings by the end of 2026. Additionally, PokerStars recently confirmed more than 100 layoffs in operations centers in Canada, Europe, the UK, and Ireland.
