The EPT Barcelona once again welcomed Gerard Piqué at the tables. The former Barcelona player competed in the €30,000 Super High Roller Warm Up – Unlimited Re-Entry. However, he finished in fourth place and missed out on the prize money.

Thus, the tournament recorded 21 entries. Additionally, the field gathered well-known names from the international circuit. Piqué managed to surpass some of his opponents and advanced to the final table. However, he left the competition right on the bubble of the payout.
Among the participants were Brandon Wilson, Klemens Roiter, and Jean-Noel Thorel. The tournament also featured Brazilians Alisson Piekazewicz, Kelvin Kerber, and Gabriel Tavares. However, none of them reached a paid position.
In this way, Enrico Camosci secured third place. The Italian received €122,705 for his campaign. Following that, Eelis Parssinen and Vinodan Lingham advanced to the heads-up. Thus, the battle for the title was between Finland and the United States.

Vinodan Lingham wins the title in Barcelona
However, in the decisive confrontation, Vinodan Lingham prevailed over Eelis Parssinen. With this, the American won the Super High Roller Warm Up title. For this achievement, he received the largest share of the prize pool, amounting to €306,600.
However, Eelis Parssinen finished as runner-up. The Finn secured €184,000 for second place. Enrico Camosci completed the podium and took home the third largest prize of the tournament.
Finally, the event distributed €613,305 among the top three finishers. Thus, Gerard Piqué left the tournament without a prize, despite reaching the final table. Still, his participation marked yet another appearance of the former player at the EPT Barcelona.
