On the night of Wednesday (2), Brazilian professional Ivan Limeira won the main prize of his career and one of the most significant in national poker in the recent history of online poker. At the virtual tables of ACR Poker, he reached the heads-up of the The Venom Mystery Bounty, securing a very valuable deal.

With entries at US$ 2,650 and a guarantee of US$ 12 million, The Venom Mystery Bounty registered 4,792 entries, bringing the top nine to the final table on Wednesday. Ivan Limeira started the decisive contest with the fourth largest stack, but thanks to a positive performance, he climbed more positions.

In the end, the Brazilian finished in second place, cashing a total of US$ 779,154. This amount includes the bounties he collected, plus the payout defined in the deal with the Russian “Deltoid88”. Upon reaching the heads-up, the players agreed on an ICM deal, awarding the title to the one with the most chips. Thus, “Deltoid88” was crowned champion and earned US$ 865,868.

With good plays to maintain a large stack and observing the eliminations, Ivan Limeira reached the 4-handed stage and from there surged ahead. His stack grew beyond 150 big blinds at one point, and he eliminated the fourth-place player. The only one he could not stop was “Deltoid88”, who reached the heads-up with an advantage and secured the title.

The final table of The Venom Mystery Bounty was Ivan Limeira’s third appearance in the decisions of this event. He even was champion of The Venom in 2024, but this more recent cash surpassed that one, which was US$ 617 thousand. Also notable at Wednesday’s FT were Chance Kornuth and Chris Moorman.
