João Hayashi overcomes opponents and confirms the title
Thus, in the heads-up, João Hayashi faced the Dutch “sensor77”. The Brazilian came out on top in the decisive duel. Therefore, the opponent finished as runner-up and received US$ 127,224 for second place.
Next, Diego Zeiter from Austria completed the podium. The player finished in third place and secured US$ 98,103. Meanwhile, Régis Cardoso closed the Brazilian participation among the top four.
Finally, Régis Cardoso finished in fourth place and took home US$ 75,648. With this, Brazil had two representatives among the top four of Event #15. Hayashi’s victory also marked another Brazilian bracelet at the WSOP Online, the third after the wins of Raphael Caixeta and Lucas Teixeira.
