José Donato made great use of one of the main attractions of the GGPoker World Festival (GGWF) this Wednesday (6). He won Event 39-High, the US$ 320 Wednesday Wonderbox, comfortably leading the Brazilians in payout value. The title earned a big score.

The GGWF Wednesday Wonderbox attracted 1,777 entries, and by surpassing all opponents, José Donato secured US$ 46,577. Also in this contest, Brazil had Pedro Moreira “Mundico” performing well, finishing fifth to take US$ 14,939.
As was clear, José Donato’s prize was not matched by any other Brazilian in the GGPoker session. However, it was not the only noteworthy title. “HarryPote”, for example, did well by winning the 42-High (US$ 525 Omaholic 5-Card Heater), outlasting 182 entries to pocket US$ 21,325 in the five-card competition.

In the mid-range segment, great Brazilian campaigns in large fields caught attention. Arthur Hinokuma reached the podium of 38-Medium (US$ 55 Bounty Hunters Daily Main), finishing third among an incredible 9,145 competitors. For his performance, he earned US$ 21,093.
In the 40-Medium (US$ 55 Wednesday Triple Threat), in the same buy-in range, another Brazilian one-two. Among 2,360 entries, “doyourbest” was crowned champion, pocketing US$ 14,395, while Giovani Torre finished second, taking home US$ 11,098.
