If Kaio Camargo won the Main Event, the Argentine Juan Barattini claimed the second most important title on the last day of BSOP Floripa. The “hermano” left the Santa Catarina tables as a two-time champion of the festival, as besides winning the Grand High Roller this Tuesday (8), he had already won the 1-Day High Roller PKO at the beginning of the stage.

With a buy-in of R$ 15,000, the Grand High Roller was held over two days and attracted 123 entries. The final stretch witnessed foreign dominance, with the best Brazilian finishing only in fifth place. To win the title, Juan Barattini defeated the Uruguayan Ismael Courdin, taking home R$ 385,000, while the runner-up took R$ 255,000.

This competition was one of the two high buy-in events that took over the tables at Costão do Santinho, in Florianópolis, on the closing day of BSOP Floripa. The other event in the lineup was the Last Chance High Roller PKO, with a R$ 10,000 buy-in. In this competition, the field registered 71 entries, and the professional Marcelo Giordano claimed the title.
An experienced figure in the national scene, Marcelo Giordano performed well and collected bounties, reaching a total prize of R$ 177,000 by securing the win. His last opponent on the way was Pedro de Queiroz, who took R$ 111,000, and Murilo Fidelis completed the podium, taking R$ 50,000 home.

Another good payout for the champion came in the R$ 2,500 Mini Main Event, which, like the Grand High Roller, was held over two days. Marco Antônio Bedin was the best among the 223 entries and pocketed R$ 90,000, an amount defined after a deal with Claudemir Morandini, who took R$ 75,000 in second place. Mário Santin was third, taking R$ 43,500.
In the R$ 3,000 6-Max PKO, the deal was among the top three. Volnei Serafim was crowned champion among 87 competitors, leaving with R$ 51,800. The Argentine Mario Niciforo finished second for R$ 32,000, and the Uruguayan Federico Sturzenegger completed the top 3, earning a prize of R$ 27,000.
Finally, three more champions. Diogo Corbellini won the R$ 1,000 Last Chance Deepstack Turbo and pocketed R$ 27,700, while Guilherme Decourt was the best in the R$ 2,500 Mixed Games Dealer’s Choice and took R$ 18,700. Tomás Martínez, from Argentina, won the R$ 2,500 Last Chance Omaha and took home R$ 20,000.
