Matheus Machado’s elimination came with a cruel twist of the deck. After putting in an initial raise, the Brazilian was put against the wall by Shcherbakov and called with everything he had. He showed AKo, while the Russian revealed KJs, and the flop came AQ4 rainbow. Machado remained safe through the turn, but the river T completed Shcherbakov’s gutshot.
