Michael Addamo has once again made history at the GGMillion$ High Rollers. The Australian won yet another title in the weekly tournament and expanded his trophy collection. Thus, the star reached his ninth victory in the competition.

Addamo had to overcome a field of 216 players. All paid the US$ 10,000 buy-in to compete in the tournament. In the end, the Australian defeated Portugal’s Pedro Neves in the heads-up and secured US$ 423,610.
Thus, in addition to the large prize money, the champion received another important award. Addamo also won a ticket to the US$ 10K GGMillion$ at WSOP Paradise. Meanwhile, Pedro Neves took second place and received US$ 326,647.
However, Dante Goya was the only Brazilian to reach the prize zone. The player advanced to 22nd place among the 216 participants. With this, the green and yellow grinder secured US$ 20,952.

Addamo’s title came with a bad beat in the heads-up
However, the decision had a dramatic outcome. In the pre-flop all-in, Michael Addamo held 8♣7♣, while Pedro Neves had A♣Q♥. Thus, the Portuguese appeared to be in an excellent position to win the title.
The board brought 2♥K♣3♥J♥ on the first four cards. This way, some of Addamo’s outs disappeared. However, the 8♦ appeared on the river and completed the Australian’s hand, securing the victory.
With the result, Michael Addamo achieved his ninth victory in the GGMillion$ High Rollers. Therefore, the Australian further cemented his name among the great champions of the tournament and added another significant prize to his resume.
