And the result was one of the most impressive, as Roberto Firmino received an excellent return by winning Event 22 (US$ 400 COLOSSUS). Besides the gold bracelet, the title earned the professional the biggest payout of his career.

Organized in a multiple Day 1 format, the WSOP Online COLOSSUS recorded a total of 16,455 entries, promoting 1,675 players to Day 2, which took place on Monday (14). This stage extended until the formation of the FT, and when the action stopped, Roberto Firmino was already appearing as the favorite, in the chip leader position.
And in the final, the Brazilian lived up to his dominance, beating the entire field to secure the title and the bracelet. Thus, he turned the US$ 400 buy-in into a payout of US$ 752,277, the big hit of his poker career so far. In the heads-up, he defeated Evaldas Narmontas from Norway, who took US$ 579,972.

Narmontas did what was within his reach throughout the heads-up, fighting a fair battle, but without managing to stop Firmino’s momentum. In the final hand, the Brazilian put the Norwegian all in on the river, with the board showing T3225. Narmontas called with about 14 bbs and showed 82o, but his three of a kind was ultimately beaten by the Brazilian’s full house, who had 32o.
Therefore, Brazil now reaches six bracelets in the current WSOP Online. The last one came at the end of last week, with Nilson Júnior in Event 19. In the country ranking, the green and yellow flag leads, with Russia in second with four titles, Germany and Spain with two each. The country with the most bracelets at the end of the series will have an exclusive freeroll for its players with a guaranteed prize of US$ 200,000.
