WSOP Paradise changes venue for 2026 edition; check it out

For several years now, the World Series of Poker has ended the year with the WSOP Paradise. The festival, which awards bracelets from the most renowned poker series in the world, also usually distributes huge prizes, always holding its activities in the Bahamas. However, in 2026, the series will change location.

Since 2023, when it was launched, WSOP Paradise has held its contests in December, at the Atlantis Resort, in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas. According to an official announcement, the date will remain the same, as well as the host city. However, the aqua-green tables will leave Atlantis and move to the Baha Mar Resort.

Certainly, this change is due to an expectation of growth for WSOP Paradise. If this year’s edition follows the trend of previous series, it will register record fields. The Super Main Event, with a buy-in of US$ 25,000, attracted 2,891 entries in 2025, generating a historic prize pool of US$ 72.3 million and crowning Austrian Bernhard Binder with a prize of US$ 10 million.

And the Brazilians are certainly keeping an eye on these changes. After all, every year, representatives of the green and yellow flag appear at WSOP Paradise, whether satellite-qualified or attending on their own. In fact, it was there that Marcelo Aziz won the biggest prize in the history of Brazilian poker to date.

Interestingly, this will not be the first time a poker series moves from Atlantis to Baha Mar. The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA), which took place for several years in January and hosted events like the PokerStars Players’ Championship (PSPC), also made the same move.

Until 2023, the PCA took place at Atlantis in Nassau. And from 2024, it moved to Baha Mar, where WSOP Paradise 2026 will be held. While the PokerStars event moved, Atlantis sought a new event and ended up signing an agreement to host the world series competition, a partnership that ends after three seasons.
