Samba Team player, Kelvin Kerber was chosen by the GGPoker series’ direction to be a character. This alone shows his greatness in the scene, as the content covers the global community. In the first episode, the featured player was the Greek Alex Theologis.
Throughout the episode, Kerber showed his routine of four days of online grind, and the result did not disappoint. US$ 37 thousand were invested in buy-ins, and the sum of collected payouts totaled US$ 146 thousand. While playing, the professional shared his reasoning, techniques, and habits during the sessions with the cameras.
However, the episode did not only show Kelvin Kerber’s life in front of the screens. He also revealed simple characteristics of his daily life in Balneário Camboriú (SC), where he resides. If the series is called “Online Poker Millionaires”, not just anyone can appear. But Kelvin Kerber is certainly one of the members of this select group of the most successful. In 14 years of professional career, the player reached his peak last year, when he won the WSOP bracelet by winning the Tag Team with his Samba Poker teammate, Peter Patrício.
However, in addition to that, he has a broad history of online success, including nine SCOOP titles (Spring Championship of Online Poker), a traditional series held annually on PokerStars. “It was a privilege.
